The Senior Citizens from ‘A Munchkins Christmas’ play. December 1976.

Backstage in December 1976 at our Kaimuki High School Class of ’77 Christmas Play. An original play call ‘A Munchkins Christmas’ that we put on for the school and visiting elementary schools.

I can’t tell who is who in this group, you’ll have to tag it yourself, I can’t even tell if I’m in there, there are more names than people in the photo. Here’s the list of the ‘Senior Citizens’: Star Asao, Brenda Fujimoto, Hayden Hu, Donna Kawamoto, Norman Kumabe, Lori Miyamoto, Grant Nagano, Craig Narusaki, Lester Nakamura, John Ogai, Muriel Sato, Baron Sekiya, Lynn Shikata, Adele Shimabukuro, Perry Takara, Leslie Takemoto, Gail Tanabe and Kauilani Woods.

Aloha – Baron Sekiya

You can find the program for the play here.

Liholiho School — 1967-1968 Grade 3 — Mrs Yee

Thought some of you might enjoy a walk down memory lane – elementary style!. This is my 3rdgrade class with my

Favorite teacher ever (well, almost ever, Mrs Tanaka in kindergarten was the greatest too!), Mrs Yee. Check it out, 1967-1968

Year. My class mates here include Jocelyn, Tina, Christopher, Paul, Ramona, Harry, Carl, Satomi, Susan, Lorrin, Daniel. Can’t remember

Some names though – getting old.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I do, when recalling how simple life was, small kid time. I was into hair bands and ruffles. Ha,ha.

Please share your favorite pics, stories growing up, from elementary, intermediate and high school.

Time is drawing near as we gear up for our “60 years Living Aloha, Birthday Bash. It’ll be on October 5th, 5-10pm at Natsunoya Tea House. Be sure to send your money to Pamela-treasurer and come. You’ll be glad you did!
